At boxing, it's only because I'm a girl. The most important person I have to prove things to is myself. Just remember, that it takes time, and anger and agression has to be controlled. Boxing is more of a mental achievement than a physical achievment... there are lots of big guys who can swing punches after a few beers... just try and put yourself a step above them. When sparring and training? ... only to myself. I couldnt give a **** if i get beaten up in sparring everyday of the week. I'm a different fighter when i'm not learning. When i'm sparring, everything i do, is counter. Any fool can punch. I don't want to be king of my gym - i want to be the best outside in the pubs and clubs where i compete. |
