View Full Version : Kick, Push-Lupe Fiasco
LOLORSKATES 05-25-2008, 04:24 PM I know this is old, but I just stumbled on it myself. I was amazed at how lyrically sound Lupe was and how he dared to sound different from anyone else.

First of all........welcome to 2006.
Now,
If you like this track then give Food & Liquor a listen to. Easily the album of the year for 06 IMO. He Say She Say & Hurt Me Soul Especially. Both amazing tracks.

I think Hurt Me Soul is by far the best song on the album. I liked The Cool but got bored of it after a while where as about 4 tracks on the album I could never get bored of. Lupe deserves far more recognition than he gets though. It knocks me sick how people like Soulja Boi and Paul Wall sell more than him. It's a disgrace.

Exactly bro the south is whats wrong with the rap scene right now. They is putting out wack ass songs with a catchy hook and a repitive beat. And even worse we have 12 year olds buying that **** so they out more **** out for us. Lupe I've got mad respect for he dares to be different and is a true artist.
TRAVI$ 05-29-2008, 03:00 PM Hurt Me Soul is the best track IMO, then its The Cool
These are both tracks i play Religiously
TRAVI$ 05-29-2008, 03:03 PM You dont get much deeper lyrics than in Hurt Me soul
My mom can't feed me, my boyfriend beats me
I have sex for money, the hood don't love me
The cops wanna kill me, this nonsense built me
And I got noooo place to gooo
They bomb my village, they call us killers
Took me off they welfare, can't afford they health care
My teacher won't teach me, my master beats me
And it huuurts meee soooul
He say, She say is up there to
Nate126 06-01-2008, 12:48 PM My favorite artist other then Nas and Jay.
favorite songs from each album
F&L- The Instrumental
The Cool- Hip Hop Saved my Life
Basically every song is a classic on both albums. Or well, I can at least listen to every song over and over again.
