Even taking that into account, think of all the other players we have and yet we still can't qualify.

We have world class in every position, plus decent cover for every position.

Simple fact is the players are more concerned about playing for their clubs than there country and why not? who really gives a **** about England.
When you watch England play it's a half arsed attempt because

a) they don't want to get injured for club matches
b) they don't want to tire themselves out for weekend games

At the end of the day it's the Premiership, best and most compeitive league in the world. Nobody has got time for England....

We have world class in every position, plus decent cover for every position.
Wouldn't have half these guys down as world class, problem is we think we have a divine right to qualify for the big tournaments. It's a crying shame we aren't there but it's the kick up the arse we needed.

I meant the 10 playing in CL final were world class, and the next list was decent/very good cover players.

It's about playing the best TEAM not the best players.

I didn't see no Greek players in the Champions League final, however they managed pretty well previously in the International scene.

For example...Lampard... he doesn't play well in the England side - don't get me wrong, awesome for Chelsea. But because he's Frank...well...we'll keep him in the starting 11 anyway. Wrong! Get him out and replace him with a player that connects and gels well with the rest of the team.

It's about working out the best team dynamic, not seeing who is the most expensive and pushing them forwards.

u should survey lower league teams & ask them if they care about the
England national team and i think u will find it is a clear yes ,Engalnd fans make me laugh they pretend they dont care yet they are the best supported national side at every Championship competition

I agree with you to a certain extent mickey, but I personally think in the last world cup everyone said Lampard played ****, he never scored a goal but had more shots on goal than any other player and another time he could of scored 4 or 5 goals. I thought he worked his socks off and played really well.

I'd use both Gerrard and Lampard even though everyone says they can't play togeather, which side by side they can't.

Ballack and Lampard can play well in the same team
Why not Lampard and Gerrard

Because Gerrard dives too much.

I seriously am coming to think Lampard is the better player.
