He does something simple which sets up a try. two man overlap and he gives the final pass which every half decent 5/8 can. And everyone jumps on his nuts.

The thing he did in the tests was good. But the guy is a center. who is not as good as Gasnier or Cooper in that position.

The only reasons Queensland lost last night was because of Bellamy's coaching. He slowed down the ruck. Did you see how hard it was for Cam Smith to play off a slow play the ball? He couldn't create havoc out of dummy half as usual. Also NSW were playing a rush up defence which was oright.

I was disappointed with Thurston's high balls in the Aus v NZ game and they didn't improve last night either. There is a potential weapon out there, for goodness sake use him. Thurston's kicking game is usually pretty good, he seems a little off form at the moment.

the thing about folau i didnt like, and the commentators touched on it, they played him out of position. they could have made an attacking move and let him play on the left wing to jump over quin.. but instead they defensively played him on the right side to negate hayne's arial abilities..

Finally got round to watching the game and thought QLD were very poor and NSW werent much better but used the ball better which won them the game obviously. na i forgot to watch it. but i'm not surprised that afl would raid nrl. even union raiding nrl. nrl is basically only big on the east coast. nrl is miles behind afl and union. every afl game i see on tv has at 40 000people at attendance. nrl on average gets 15 000. the NRL has to go NATIONALLY so they can actually be called national ruby league.

Games 1 & 2 were dominated by the winner, but the decider was a much better contest and had some excitement in it. I thought Izzy was lucky to win man of the match. One try was from an Anthony Quinn **** up. The second won was amazing granted, but I think Izzy needs to work on his defensive skills. Having said that he is amazing in the air. I thought Slater was terrific too.

And I feel sorry for the Titans, their chances of staying in the top 8 have dropped slightly. Prince and Bailey out for the season with injuries and they play Manly on Friday :eek: :nonono:
