I think he's probably the most well rounded fighter in the GP. I'd actually say going in, the way he's been fighting, and who he's been fighting, he'd be the favorite.

I hope everyone of you that couldn't take time out of your busy days to vote in this poll perish in violent car crashes on your way home this evening. No, even better, I hope you crash, get shards of glass in your eyes, third degree burns on your faces, your manhood or womanhood are mangled beyon recognition, your arms severed, and your legs rendered useless for the rest of your days. So that every time some little child runs away in horror, you can thing, hmm, should have voted in Zen's poll. ****ing *******s. Rock the vote.

I know, I saw your response. You trained with Chuck back in the day, that's pretty cool. Was he a badass back then too?

Bluecifer
07-11-2003, 05:18 PM
Yeah. NO ONE ****ed with Chuck. He's had the mohawk at least 10 years. There were articles about him in the local paper(The Times Press Recorder) before he was in the UFC about what a bad ass kickboxer, boxer, and wrestler he was. Also, I wouldn't say I trained with him, It was at the biggest Dojo on the central coast at the time and he taught a lot of people. That was actually a great stand up place, we sparred HARD there open weight.

I voted for Arona.

Sakuraba is God

I don't think Arona will have the gas to win more than once in a night because he never finishes and it will go the disatance. Also, I think Pride will screw him out of a close decision. He could probably beat any of those guys by lay and pray if it was just one match though.

apparently it's a very well kept secret. maybe if one of the popular posters posted a link to the mma forum some more people would take time out of there busy and important days to post there, maybe once a month or so.

how many times can you discuss the GP or how ****ty the next UFC is?

Zen
07-11-2003, 07:28 PM
The next UFC isn't that ****ty. And how many times can a man lust after the same 5 or so chicks that come here on a regular basis?

I do a lot to keep the MMA forum and the .com rolling but lets face it. The next fight is a month away and there's nothing going on. Were where you when I was posting **** fight results a couple of months ago because there wasn't any news. It just slows down in between shows. No KOTC or Pride or UFC....not even any small shows to speak of. Things will pick up a week befpre Pride
