Why use LOL if your not LOL? Why not just say something like, You're not funny or you suck?

If I waste 5 seconds of my miserable life to type LOL or LMAO I'm laughing god damnit. I don't take the use of acronyms lightly. If it's not funny, I usually just ignore whatever was typed.
