**** me, i remember when United played, i think it was Leeds at home and Wednesday had just come home from a derby game. 3 sets of fans....

United, Leeds all on one street and all teh Wednesday had just come off the train home and Eccy road (one of the big bar areas in Sheffield) was a proper ****ing war-zone. It was just... an incredible sight... i'd never seen so much **** in my life. All 3 sets of fans had descended, fists, glasses being thrown, coppers just clubbing the **** outta people. Unbelievable.

You must be having trouble understanding what I have said so I will repeat it once again. The idiots purporting to be Rangers fans who caused trouble in Manchester are absolute scum of the lowest form, I have nothing but contempt for them and I hope each and every one of them is punished for what they have done. If the Police managed to batter any of them, great, I hope it hurt. However, all the innocent Rangers fans who were attacked by the Police deserved nothing of the sort and the behavior of some Manchester Police officers was of the same thuggish type as those who thought it was acceptable to lay into a grounded Policeman. I don't understand where the difficulty lies in accepting that some Police offers acted wholly inappropriately and why they don't get the condemnation they clearly deserve.
