With mega rich clubs like Chelsea, they will always pay over the odds cos the club selling the player know that they will pay more than the going rate. Someone like Everton/Newcastle/Villa etc. would have been charged a lot less for him.

Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Robert Earnshaw from Derby County for £2.65million. The Welsh international has signed a three-year contract at the City Ground with the Coca Cola Championship newcomers, who secured automatic promotion after finishing second in League One, and becomes manager Colin Calderwood's first signing of the summer.
