I bought some diesel for my car, but with the obscene prices i still ended up £30 out of pocket.

The perfect pen in my humble opinion is the Limited Edition Mystery Masterpiece, a joint creation between Mont blanc and Van Cleef & Arpels.

It will set you back at a mere $730,000 but i'm not sure how much that is in sterling.

The pen itself has 840 diamonds and more than 20 carats of gemstones set in a Van Cleef & Arpels patented "Mystery Setting" that conceals the stone settings. A groove is made on the culet, the bottom facet of the stone, which is then slid onto the threads of the lattice design so that the stones can be held in place side by side without any visible support. There are three variations, set either with rubies, sapphires or emeralds, and accented by diamonds. The three variations of these marvelous pens are limited to three releases each for a total of nine. The unique work took over a year and a half to create by skilled artisans.

Search the web for a decent image. Be warned!!!!!!! The beauty is nothing like i've seen before.

Asked my dad how much interest a million in the back would yield... he said 2k a week? Does that sound about right. Which is cool.

In honesty, i think i'd retire on that. What I'd do is buy a farm, get some horses, goats, sheep, cows, pigs... couple of chickens and a duck pond and potter around that all day. Lovely.

A bit of both perhaps, i'd have no aversion to yielding a crop or two...and driving a tractor might be fun.

To be honest, it'd be easier to breed the animals. I think i'd have some very high pedigree cows, special breeds etc. Yuppy ****. Like the japanese ones you feed beer to get really fat.

Perhaps buy a couple of stud-racehorses and a few prize pigs. Make enough money to employ a couple of kids and tide the place over and keep myself busy.

If you were actually in the financial position to fund this venture, I'd strongly encourage you to give up your dream. The agriculture industry is on the decline in MEDC's and it's unbelievably hard to retain a decent wage. Hence why they resort to battery chickens etc.

Funny how Geography has some how made be an authority on this matter.

You seen that ****ty program Jimmys Farm?

I wouldn't do it to be rich or make money. I'd do it for my own enjoyment, possibly open some kind of centre for deprived city kids, give them time in the country.

Besides, i'd be loaded already... plus i'd be breeding racehorses and pedigree animals. I'm not going to wholescale slaughter 100 cows... it's be a small herd for my own amusement.

The place would have a lake where i could fish, a wood where i could shoot...

You really surprise me mickey, but in a good way. Great idea and a simple and perfect lifestyle.

We got this rare breeds farm in cholderton not far from where I live, got a season ticket (it's cheaper than one at white hart lane) and I take my boy there, he ****ing loves it and so do I.

Hopefully we can move to wales in a year or so, looking for a nice 4/5 bedroom house, with a seperate cottage for the in-laws and a few outbuildings and at least 5 acres of land, sea views and near a river. Saw one advertised in a local paper from fishguard, where her parents are and it was as above, but without the cottage and had a big static caravan instead and it was only £375,000 which is within our reach financially.

My dream would be to own an island of my own, and you'd be surprised what you can get.

Check this out, enter your price range and ideal location and dream away fellas.

Check the site out, you can get some really nice islands for less than a mortgage. Ideal for fishing or for renting out and pulling in an income. Although you need to make sure getting there is farely easy.

I'd love to build my own house, I actually like the idea of getting into property development.

Pursue your dreams Duran, your young and intelligent and if you want it badly enough you can get it. It's better to have tried than not tried at all. You don't know what's around the corner and you could have commitments in the near future that could make it even harder to pursue and then end up regretting it.

oh im definitely gonna try and do these things. i've already started my own little business up, nothing major but its doing ok at the minute. trying to become an entrepenuer!! haha

property development is something im really interested in. Its very dangerous getting involved now though because of the interest rates etc..... but if you was to buy somewhere cheap now and was able to hold onto it, do it up well you could make a fortune within a year or so if the economy situation improves

I'd pay off close family's debts/mortgages first, put some money towards Macc Town F.C about £50,000 so they could carry out some ground improvements. I.d buy a house with a massive land plot, probably have to be a farm, so my dog could actually have somewhere to run about, I'd probably get a few more dogs too, so he had sommat to shag or run about with. I should have enough there to buy a pub where I can walk in and out of freely pulling pints for myself all day long.
