This needs to be settled....come on!!!!!!! Put together a special show for the first round. You could have done it this month when there's nothing going on in MMA as far as PPVs go. Some of us actually like the smaller weight classes. Give us a champ!

Because it seems the UFC couldn't give two ****s about the LW division sometimes. If Vazquez was a lhw or hw he probably would have fought there by now.

Vazquez has talent and heart. Anyone that will not quit after tearing an ACL in the cage has heart and desire. He also has skill. He can G&P the **** out of you or use BJJ to tap ya. Yeah I'm nut hugging but after his last fight the kid has all my respect.

He's number 1 in my books too, but the fighters mentioned were guys accessible to the UFC, they're either UFC or KOTC affiliated fighters. In a perfect world Gomi would be in it.

Ben, Javier was supposed to be Hermes Franca's original opponent for UFC Miami. He tore his ACL in a warm up KOTC fight. He'll be right back in the mix of things when he's healthy.

Penn vs Sudo alternate match.

I didn't put Gomi or Masato because getting them to actually fight in the UFC is going to be hard. I know Gomi has talked about fighting Penn but his schedule won't allow it now.

I mentioned him cause he beat both Ludwig and Sudo. I didn't get him mixed up with anyone. we were talking about the top LWs in the world.

Masato is not a top mma lightweight..he has never fought in an mma event, he beat Sudo and bang under k-1 rules......ps.Zambidis is gonna ko masato in the gp max opener....haha curly im just being a ***** here i know lol, just being very techincal..

Why have Penn and Sudo as an altenate match but leave Pulver, Mishima or Franca in? I don't understand? Explain your thoughts on this, lightweight.

I guess it's personal picks.

Pulver-I still regard him as a top guy, and would want to see if he can prove himself in the tournament.

Mishima-in his last 10 fight his only loss was to Gomi(#1), and he's a strong finisher.

Franca-undefeated and would want to see what he could do.

Mishima isvery good...........I just don't think he can hang with the top guys in the world. Gomi defeated him pretty easily. Guess I just haven't seen enough of him.

I still can't believe I forgot about Gomi when I was making my fantasy tournament. The ****ing guy is ranked #1 in the world. That would be like making a fantasy heavyweight tournament and forgetting to have Fedor or Minotauro in it.
