ďÖ I got caught Ė I havenít watched the fight yet but some of my buddies told me I got caught with a pretty good punch about 18 seconds inÖ. I thought I had him. I was really surprised when he was able to roll out. Itís pretty rare for somebody to get out. Itís just one of those things. Golf clap for Rich for getting outÖ. I was probably a half-inch, maybe even a quarter-inch, from breaking Rich Franklinís arm. If we played that fight again I think Iíve got a real good shot at beating him. How close was I to getting my arm raised in both those fights? Sometimes luck is Ö And, Iím not saying that Rich got lucky. I donít want people sending me hate mail saying I was saying Rich got lucky. Iím just saying I got unlucky.Ē

The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 4 middleweight winner, Travis Lutter, talks about his technical knockout loss at UFC 83: ďSerra vs. St. Pierre 2″ on April 19. In addition to discussing the loss, ďThe Serial KillerĒ goes in to details about all the unnecessary hate mail he receives for his past two losing performances.

He had Franklin in a awesome arm bar but Rich got out and ****ed him up. Lutter should retire or fight with a oxygen tank in the ring.

Was an amazing escape!! Ive personally never seen anyone escape from an arm bar that was locked in!! The second Lutter got it i thought "oh no....." then 2 seconds later my jaw hit the floor....AMAZING bit of BJJ....

Everytime Lutter suffers a loss like this he always says I'll beat him the next time. Well you can't be saying that every fight. I think he is a good fighter but just lost his stamina but he said this with Anderson Silva at the UFC 83 press conference that he would beat Silva and now he's saying he would win the second time him and Franklin faught. He needs to learn from his mistakes that he made and improve in his next match
