Dress nice, no jeans. Show up on time, do what everybody else does. The wedding will probably be 1 to 2 hours. Are they having a reception? That's the fun part where you get drunk and make an ass out of yourself and the people that are getting married.

You'll sit around and think "I can't belive she is wearing white"

afterwards, you'll eat bad food in tiny servings and then go home wishing you had never gone

My sister just got married on the 20th, so I have a bit of recent experience. The ceremony is boring(about an hour-hour and a half), and the reception too(at least this one, speaches, cake, done). Suits were the norm, except me, jeans and a nice t-shirt.

It all depends on the people throwing the wedding. If they like to party, it will be fun. If they are boring, nondrinking uptight people, it will probably suck.

If it's a family wedding do your home work. You don't want to spend your time figuring out who's you cousin if you want to hook up.

weddings suck ****

dont dress nice unless you plan on seeing these people again in the future

hell i even sported my chute boxe hoodie at a funeral and i have to see my ****ing family on a daily basis

if you dont know them dont worry about it

the actual wedding isnt very long but its the wait ubefore it actually starts and that gay social gathering after it that sucks the most ****

You seem like a very social bunch.

i have not been to a wedding since i was like 8 or 9

i remember bugging the **** out of the DJ to play a song that didn't exist

and drinking so many sherly temples i got sick

then i snuck some booze and got even sicker

then i was jumping off some stairs

then i saw a cute 13 year old and i grabbed her ass

then my dad beat me

these days im about as anti-social as you can get

over the past 6 months ive turned into a total **** up at life

and i dont believe in dressing to impress people anymore, its just a waste of time

it is chute boxe hoodie, my adidas with approximately 15 minutes of life left in them, khaki pants with 396 pockets everywhere i go

i know im a loser so why do i give a **** if anyone else thinks so too

I hate the fomaility of weddings. they make me uncomfortable. The atmosphere is too tense and everyone looks ready to break and run regardless of the so-called joy filled occasion of matrimony.

But its worth it to see nicely dressed women fight for that bouquet.

Amen to that.

I dont believe in the legal binding of marriage.

find a good woman. Have a spiritual ceremony if you like.

keep the vampire Lawyers out of it. I have seen way too many failed marriages stay disfunctional because the cost of divorce was too great. I FEAR THE CHAIN AND BALL!!!!!

just live together.

i have no opinion on marriage

it wouldnt matter to me if we just lived together or got married

of course id have to find someone to live with or marry first though and im sure thats never going to happen

thats the hardest thing for me

if you go, dress nice. show some respect for the people getting married. Chances are alot of time and money was invested into it, and it would be straight up rude and disrespectful to not dress appropriately. If ya wanna dress bad for it, stay home and dont embarrass anyone or yourself.
Wedding ceremonies are generally boring, but the reception, like zen pointed out, is highly dependent on the people who attend. Also it depends on if it is open bar or not.
They can be a great time, or a total bore, in which case you can always cut out early. :)
