I cant believe the refs continue to be conned by him. If he was on my team i'd have to tell him to stop it, I find it embarrassing and it spoils the whole game

I keep reading he's being linked with Liverpool but i dont really know much about him. From what iv seen of him he looks a tidy player, a little slow though.
Theres talk he might come in for Alonso , if Alonso wants a move back to Spain.

barry has been good for us all year. he keeps things simple and obviously he's left footed so he brings a good balance to the team. Your right about him being slow however, but breaking forward isn't really his game so it doesn't cause a major problem usually. He has good vision and can deliver a good set piece, to be honest if we dont make europe I can see him moving on as he'll want to cement his england place. Personally if you were to offer anything over 10 million i'd happily see him go. I know a lot of villa fans who would disagree with me there though. Plus mate whenever him and gerard have played together for england they seem to do well so rafa might fancy that combo

On Chelsea? Gimmie John Terry everytime, that guys rough and ready. Also - you'd never find J.T diving after a challenge...because he's a ****ing psycho. As far a defencemen in the league go - he's old school.

Cheers for the info mate. If Rafa was to bid for him, and Alonso was to go, it would seem Rafa would want Barry in the holding midfield postion alongside Masherano, while Gerrard can play in a more attacking role.
To be honest i hope Alonso stays, hes been below par this season but is still a great payer.
Theres been talk that Liverpool have got an english player in the bag for next season, but its probaly not Barry as iv heard Chelsea are heeping tabs on him awell. But from what iv seen of Barry, he looks decent and it helps him being left-footed as the left is sometimes a problem arera for us.
Suppose we will see what happens in the summer.

I don't think Drogba could "skip past people" like Messi if he wanted to.

His game is all about muscling position and often drawing fouls. He does very well at it. I'm not saying it's cool but he's effective at it.
