First test kicks off at HQ on May 15th. Should be a good warm up series before the big one (Saffies later in the summer).
No Flintoff, and possibly no Harmison. England's attack looks a bit thin on the ground. That said, the Kiwis are shit and should just roll over, esp without Shane Bond.
Anyone here follow cricket?

I love boxing. Cricket is wonderfully simple. At its essence, to quote the great Aussie Greg Chappell, this is a "see the ball, hit the ball" game.
Eng are good at cricket, much better comparatively then the nation is at football, and so deserve public backing.

I've been watching the IPL as well; the joys of being a student. Pretty good entertainment so far. That innings that McCullum played was absolutely amazing. Think it was 13 sixes he hit.
In response to the thread starter, I love my cricket. Although we are missing Flintoff I see a few young players making big impacts this summer, Broad and Bopara especially.

Stuart Broad can really establish himself this summer. A bigger Q is whether Sidebottom can continue his fine run of form.
Keep an eye out for Adil Rashid, the Yorkshire legspinning AR, he may well end up with an Eng cap before the year is out. Gives the ball a real rip, and bats a bit too.
Without Bond, the Kiwis should not pose too much problems. But the Saffies, Steyn, Ntini et al will bring fire later in the summer.
