I mean the amount of people that are calling him out now, three decent names for his resume; Jones Jr, Pavlik, Tarver and possible Taylor and Dawson.

I don't think he has the desire anymore, other than a big pay day with Jones , which at the end of the day is fair enough. He does value his 0 very highly as well.

I think he should at least fight Jones and Tarver. Both past it but could be good match ups. For tarver they could have the whole restore British pride angle, avenge clinton (Also effectively means he beat Clinton) and the legend killer angle with Jones.

It has to be Pavlik or Roy. No matter who he gets, if he beats them there will always be excuses. Roy (past prime), Pavlik (Not proved at higher division).

That being said, Roy is probably the biggest threat. He's the only one i can see beating Joe. It's also the fight i'd like to see the most.

imo the only reason he needs and wants to fight roy is for the money it would generate. Calzag has openly admitted he only wants a few more fights capable of giving him huge paydays, which i dont blame him for tbh. I personally think Pavlik is very dangerous. Joe got stung a few times by Hopkins who isnt the KO puncher Pavlik is. I think his size and aggressivness would also be trouble.
With Jones, his right hand leads would be a ****er. But Jones is chinny as hell, and maybe Joe could finally put him to rest. Plus Joe is too busy for old man Jones.

Jones has the money and i think he hasnt that much left. Calzaghe could potentionaly go out with a bang. But Pavlik is the star.

People will say Jones was shot and a victory means little. If he beats Pavlik, and Pavlik doesnt go on to achieve much else, then its just another Lacy overrated win.
