Me, i would by a really nice house,Escalade fully loaded paid off, put money away so my kids can go to college,put moneyaway so i can get my kids a car,and a **** load od clothes for us.. Then after that id get sick of being rich and get bored..

If I had a million after taxes I'd do something like this.
Trade in cars for 2 new ones- $150,000 I'd have 2 fat rides.
Pay off debt- $15,000
Pay off house- $150,000
$685,000 left.
Give away $150,000 to family and charity.
$535,000
$135,000 on whatever, clothes, vacation, motorcycle etc.
$400,000 into investments. Maybe a duplex or small apartment building.
I'd go back to school. I'd train full time. Work a parttime job, bartending or something that I like.
If I could collect 5% of my $400,000. That'd be $20,000 a year plus maybe $10 to $15 a year from my parttime job. $30,000 a year would be plenty if everything was paid for but food, gas and utilities.
