UFC 44: BATTLE OF THE GIANTS
Two big giants will headline UFC 44. Gan McGee will fight Tim Sylvia for the UFC Heavyweight Championship, as the match was confirmed by McGee's trainer John Hackleman live on MMAWeekly Radio yesterday. The two big fellas will bang in a matchup between two men who are 6'8 in Tim Sylvia against 6'10 Gan McGee.

As far as the rest of the card is concerned, nothing has been confirmed. It's all speculation. Here's a rumored card that has NOT been confirmed by the UFC, just some fighter camps who believe this is how it could shape up.

UFC 44 Rumored Fights- September 26

- Tim Sylvia vs. Gan McGee

- Robbie Lawler vs TBA

- Josh Thompson vs. Gerald Strebendt

- Rich Franklin vs. Edwin Dewees

- Dave Strasser v. Karo Parisyan

- David Louiseau v. Jorge Rivera

- Dennis Hallman v. Jeremy Jackson

- Hermes Franca v. Caol Uno

I really thought that the UFC would put together a huge card to try and compete with Pride....Maybe a lightweight tournament or something.

MMA Weekly has been known to be very wrong in the past, Charles. From what I understand, Lawler is ****ed up right now. He shouldn't be fighting anyone, anytime soon.

As far as Jeremy fighting Hallman goes.......I know there was some smack talked on the UG.........but, as far as I know, Jeremy is not fighting Hallman on this card. ****, I'll just call and ask him.

170lbs of ass whipping. He is an up and comer with amazingly quick and acurate hands. Knocked out 4 people at the king of the mountain tournament, he also kicked Shonie Carters ass for 3 rounds last March..........

Jackson would work better in the UFC if he could go up or down a weight class. Middleweight is kind of slow now and lightweight is....well you know...I don't know what he walks around at or what weight he could make. Welterweight has Hughes and Spratt and Lawler and on and on...Middle weight would get him in if he could make it.

Hughes is to good for him right now. I think Jeremy will even say that.
