de mori's username is 'dominator' on esb and boxrec. he isnt really a 'poster' as he doesnt get involved in discussion about boxing. de mori has one subject. his favourite subject. himself!!!!!

de mori STARTS THREADS ABOUT HIMSELF!!!! for example he started a thread on boxrec and opened the thread with this....

to beat a former world title challenger is a huge confidence boost for me, i dont think anyone outside my team thought id win.

mahone is not the same fighter he was a few years ago, but the game plan we had gave him no chance, we took advantage of his slow foot and hand speed, no brawling just scoring points, never letting him set, and using a few diff tactics to take his confidence in his jab away, which is his measuring stick before he throws anything

this is a guy who refuses to fight alex leapai, or any one of the top 5 heavys in oz. he's running over to the us in the hope some promoter will feed him a diet of bums and be built as a white hope, for a payday. mark has no reason to go anywhere to get competition. there are better heavies than him here.

he starts threads about himself. i think that says it all.

ive always found mark to be pretty humble.. and i like when any boxer takes the time to give the fans some insight..

i guess its just a matter of how you take it.

id definitely like to see him have a go in aus though

Why not go for money? Good on him, no reason fighting cabbies over here if you can get paid 10x more for the same fight over in the US

depends if you think boxing is a sport or a business. where is the honour gone when even fans defend polookas who wont prove themselves??

as a boxing fan i have the right to be a backyard critic if i want to. if a bloke is in the public eye he must accept the kudos as well as the critisism.

its pretty simple. kali meehan, alex leupai, solomon homono. these are the top 3 heavies in oz. i dont think its unreasonable to ask a heavyweight whos looking to make a name for himself to fight one of these blokes!!! do you?? after all, the australian title should be a boxers first major goal !

my record was pretty ordinary. 50% win rate. never hurt or knocked down. just a polooka who was never fit, but could punch hard enough to discourage fitter blokes from juming on him. dont know what good i did for boxing....i was a crowd pleaser aparently. so i made someone happy...

If you're an amateur its a sport

If you're pro it's a business

Unfortunately there are some who know absolutely nothing but boxing and if they didn't make any money inside the ring they would be well and truly screwed up and have a hard time outside of it. If they can make money from it in an easier way then that's great because it is still a much harder and less forgiving way to try and make money from than what most do.

If he can make more cash by doing it a different way then good on him. He's one in a thousand.

Well you should go ring up mundine then, he has a lot more to prove than de mori. Pro's make money for fighting, they aren't like am's who do it for the love of the sport, it's their career and they need to make as much money as they can out of the short time that they have some success.
