Anybody know anything effective in getting rid of a black eye?

i just got rid of my black eye about two days ago. lasted about two weeks. why do you really care its nothing too bad. mine was worse then it should have been because i had a cold and had to constantly blow my nose making it worse. btw when i had a black eye for the first few days i was blowing my nose and it would be pure blood. i didnt have a nose bleed during the fight though. im assuming it was coming from my eye down my nasal passage. anyone had this?

However, when I got home and blew my nose my eye "puffed" and burned a bit. The CAT scan says fractured orbital (eye socket). Now there is a new canal between my ethmoid sinus and my eye socket so air, not blood, is trapped in the socket! Stop blowing your nose! The back pressure from the nose blowing is causing air to be forced into your socket. Go to the Dr. (Once you have health insurance) CAT scan~3,000. And yes, we should both keep the hands up even if the other guy is slower because power DOES matter.

I'm a school teacher. I walk through the corridor everyday and in every class i have to explain why i've got it.

I've explained it literally 100/200 times today. It's exhausting and depressing describing how you got smacked hard in the face because of a moment of incompetancy. It really is.

At the end of the day, i spar nearly every night and have had 2 black eyes all year.

I've had 4 fights this season and only come away with a bust lip - i can't be taking that much damage!
