What do you guys think about this fight?

Vic has another world title shot and I reckon he has an excellent chance of winning this one.

I saw Kirilov's last fight against Santos (it was on a Tarver undercard on Big Time boxing) and I must say, the guy looked very ordinary. He stood right in front of Santos and was there to be hit. He got caught flush numerous times and just squeaked out a draw.

If he does that against Vic I think it will be short night and Vic will stop him pretty quickly.

Who cares about Vic really? He's well past it and beside he fights like he's been trained at 'one dimensional fighters are us'. I don't know how he went as long as he did with out getting beaten.

sounds like a very winnable fight for vic.. from the article on the main page it looks like he's out to prove there's more to his game than slugging. might be an interesting one to watch.

If you don't care about Vic then why post in this thread?

People need to see Vic for what he is, he'll never be the greatest boxer, but he does use his limited skills pretty well, has good power & he's entertaining to watch. You know a Vic fight isn't going to be boring.

His last fight was terribly boring against a lesser opponent. Watching Vic trying to land one punch was a display of Vic's boxing ability.

Kirilov can be patchy, but also has some sharp counterpunching skills with some pretty good power.

Actually, Kirilov is a very strange fighter. He looks like he has skills and seems to use them every now and then, as said above, but in general is either happy to get hit to give one back or just thinks it scares his opponent or some demented thing like that.

He could very well give Vic a good fight or maybe even beat him. I haven't really seen enough of him. Has good speed, good fundamentals, is very tough and stands a very good chance. Whether Vic stands a better chance just going for the big KO like usual or stands a better chance by trying to add some extra things to his game...? I don't know. Should be a decently entertaining fight.
