The gym will give you the workout plan that you need; however, if you plan to train at home to get ready to go to the gym, then PM me and I can send you a list of exercises that we do at our gym. I don't recommend doing any boxing-related stuff(shadow-boxing, heavybag) at home though if you've never been to a gym because you might start developing bad habits that will take longer to fix once you do get with a trainer. Good luck. Detroit could you please explain what a wind sprint is mate? Detroit101 04-16-2008, 09:48 AM Detroit could you please explain what a wind sprint is mate? Run a 50 yard dash as fast as you can and rest for 30 seconds, then repeat until you feel like vomiting....then do them again.....eventually build up your sprint from 10 second to 45 seconds with the same amount of rest....this will help condition your vo2 max, build stamina and flurry capacity.... in your best condition you want to be able to bring your heart rate to its normal resting rate within 30 seconds after peak physical exertion.... a well trained athlete should have a resting pulse of 60 beats per minute or lower.......
