well im 14 and i fight in the 7 stone (98 lbs, 44 kg)weight class and ima about 5''1, ive tryed the height predictor on the net and it said i would be 5''8. however, i would like to know what weight division i will be when im fully grown, so does anyone here remember their weight at my age and how much they put on between now and maturity? i also think boxing competitively through puberty might be a factor in how much weight i put on, but yeah it'd be great if anyone could fill me in on the average amount put on or how much they put on (especially if they boxed)

thanks in advance

What does it matter? Your body will naturally fill it self out, so just let it happen and compete at the weight your genes gave you.

How big is your dad? Thats about the best indication you should get.

I was a pissweak little runt right through highschool (why else do you take up boxing). When I hit 17 I went from being one of the smallest kids around to 185cm (6'2"ish) 75kgs. Now I'm 35 and weigh at 84kgs, pretty much spot on my old mans physique at a similar ages

I agree with sven72. you'll probably end up about as tall as your father. being 14 years old you might have already stopped growning. you never know. I was 6'1" at 12 years old and I was 6'6" at 13 years old. I hit 6'7" at 14 and havent grown since. Doctors were predicting me to be 7 foot tall but once I hit 14 I stopped. What ever card your delt just play it to the best of your abilitys. Dont worry about how tall your going to be.

k these people don't know shit because you ARE probably NOT going to grow to be the same height as your father but it may be a little more likely but I doubt it. It's just plain incorrect because your height is determined by both ur mother and father.
