One of the best Boxer aswell.
Terry A 04-15-2008, 09:51 PM I remember when he was coming up, how respectful & polite he was when he was being interviewed. He came off as a student of the sport. Jimmy Jacobs & Kevin Rooney kept him focused. The video shows just how much his character either changed or was covered up earlier....who's to know for sure?
My favorite Tyson quote was when he said he would "just fade into Bolivia"...
The video was funny, even though it was also sad in places. He was for sure one of my favorite fighters of that era.
Thanks for posting it.
xcaref 04-15-2008, 10:39 PM Funniest boxer is Zab Judah. He did the chicken dance during a fight! Funny guy

Syntax Error 04-16-2008, 08:52 AM Ricardo Mayorga is the funniest boxer for me.
He isn't funny in the 'ha ha ha' sense, but funny in the way he curses his opponents & makes press conferences so entertaining.

100 percent truth
Brockton Lip 04-16-2008, 11:19 AM Ali is definitely one of them. As well as Tex Cobb.
Yaman 04-16-2008, 11:20 AM Judah is only unintentionally funny though.
ABOSWORTH 04-16-2008, 12:46 PM I love the part when he tells Don King off and calls him a scumbag! Hadn't seen that footage before.
Tyson will always be one of my favorite fighters of all time. He did have some funny moments.

duffgun 04-17-2008, 05:42 PM I find O'neil Bell funny, like when he kissed mormeck during there 2nd fight and was prating around in the ring for half the fight.
ferocity 04-17-2008, 11:19 PM Jorge "Maromero" Páez

Paez lost one point in the 10th round for clowning.
BLaZiN=-MaX 04-18-2008, 08:01 PM James Toney!
Brunswick Assassin 04-20-2008, 11:36 PM James Toney!
Lights Out is hilarious! Toney's antics in the ring during sparring sessions, calling his opponents corner out by waving to them during fights and his interviews are the best out there. Especially when he's calling out all the European Heavyweights and calling them cowards and chumps! LOL
This guy should be commentating on HBO or even Showtime.
NYCHeavyHitz 04-21-2008, 12:02 AM Outside the ring, Tyson. Inside the ring, Emmanuel Augustus.
Too Short 04-21-2008, 01:25 AM Funniest to laugh at: Leon Spinks

poet682006 04-23-2008, 06:17 PM The "Clown Prince Of Boxing" Max Baer. He would have been a much better fighter if he'd clowned a bit less!
Poet
popkins99 04-23-2008, 08:44 PM ali is the funniest imo. tyson is up there with him.

4-Naseem Hamed

joseph5620 08-11-2008, 02:48 AM Ali is definitely one of them. As well as Tex Cobb.
I agree with those two picks. Ali is my pick as number 1. But Tex Cobb was really funny too.
Mafcherano 08-12-2008, 12:00 AM He did say some pretty funny ****! Especially that quote about being eloquent but still being a scumbag! I would say the clown Prince is anopther strong candidate but I don't think there has been a naturally funny person in the ring since Ali.

Hector Camacho could be humorous. Whenever he called Lou Duva and Kevin Rooney "Fred and Barney" I thought I would piss myself.

Mafcherano 08-13-2008, 12:18 AM Alot of them had their moments, but non of them did it consistently and so chamringly as Ali. Hector Comacho did know how to take the piss, as did the clown Prince.
Even Bruno was humorous but people were laughing at him not with him, e.g. when his promoter switched to ITV but he still said 'Where's Harry?' looking for BBC's interviewer Harry Carpenter!

LOL, I got to give the guy props, though. He was the British champ!
Brunswick Assassin 08-13-2008, 03:07 AM James toney is the funniest fighter along with Tyson. There isn't one Toney interview where you're not in stiches from laughing.
Toney after Holyfield KO: "Next, Who's Neeeext??? I got milk baby!"
