I'm the same mate, love the job although the kids find it hard to understand my geordie accent over here.

What the pay like in England these days for a teacher?, its not that great over here. Its about $50k a year (£25k) but the cost of living is much cheaper so....

It's all done on scale and pay bands, depends on how many years you've been doing it.
