I'll take the bet, not that I have many points to offer.

But in all seriousness, I don't understand your prediction Blair_Wells#32. When was the last time Serra submitted anyone via choke? Wasn't Kelly Dulanty his last BJJ sub win? That was 6 years ago.

I'm Calling Choke because i don't think GSP will Not Stand and Trade with Serra.
i think he'll Wrestle him down.
Serra is Far Better Then Kos or Hughes Off His Back, I Believe he Will Catch him.

Ye was wonderin why Blair_wells put serra choke too, I don't see this ending on the ground I think it will either be a TKO for GSP in the fifth round or a decision

Blair_Wells#32

i called choke cause like i said above i don't think GSP will keep it on the feet for long, if he doese i think it will have the same result as the last fight, with Serra goin all out on him an winnin by TKO, and if it goes 2 the ground i see him either Triangle choking him, catching a guillatine or sweepin him an takin his back for the choke.
Serra still feels disrespected by fans an other fighters an i believe he's training his ass off on his feet an off his back 2 b ready for anything GSP brings which has been Wrestling as of late.
an keep in mind nobody thought of a TKO last fight either, people were sayin the same thing, when has Serra Knocked anyone out :fing02:
i still believe GSP will Wrestle in this fight an Serra will have 2 work for a Sub which will either be a choke or armbar.
an biggus dickus your on for 3901, and Naps is in also for 20k plus.
leaves me about 15 k left any other takers.

St Pierre got hit on the temple in the last fight and lost his legs, he will beat Serra, GSP is just as good on the ground ask the wrestling gods Koscheck and Hughes,
Ps: remember the sherk fight?

This is going to be a good match but GSP is nothing like when he first faught Serra, he's so focused and trains very hard in each fight and I think he'll come out on top

Random Thoughts:

In the Main Event, I'm leaning toward GSP taking the fight to the mat this time. After the last night, I have doubts that he's going to want to give Serra his 'puncher's chance' again, even if Serra is considered more dangerous on the mat with his BJJ background. GSP has already mauled a decorated mat wrestler in Hughes, and is a brown belt BJJ holder himself. With Serra's sometimes questionable conditioning, my tip is for St. Pierre to keep Serra down, dominate position, and eventually find a way to pound Serra for the stoppage.

In the other fights, I have to give Franklin the nod over Lutter. So long as he is in the ring with anyone who's name isn't Anderson Silva, Ace seems to be a far more aggressive and dangerous fighter. Franklin should be able to control the fight against Lutter, stuffing his takedowns and if/when on the mat, doing enough to nullify Lutter's advantage there to take a decision victory.

Starnes/Quarry is almost too close to call for me - I love both guys, and just hope we end up getting a three-round war. Bisping/McCarthy should be a fun fight ... for the 15 seconds McCarthy spends conscious. Out of the other fights, I'm most interested in Cain Velasquez's debut - if the hype on him is correct, he could be one to watch out for.
