Percee P (born John Percy Simon in 1971) is an underground hip-hop artist from the Patterson Projects in The Bronx, New York City, United States. Percee P has been emceeing since 1979, yet his debut album Perseverance was released by Stones Throw Records on September 18, 2007, produced entirely by Madlib. He had previously released a few singles on several different labels, some of which are expensive collector's items today. He was known in the underground for selling his mixtapes himself in front of the Fat Beats store in New York, a practice he continues today by selling his Stones Throw album himself at his shows. He has made many guest appearances on other alternative and underground hip-hop artists' releases including Big Daddy Kane, Kool Keith, Lord Finesse, Aesop Rock, Edan, Jurassic 5, C-Rayz Walz, Jaylib, Jedi Mind Tricks, Maestro Fresh Wes, Wildchild, and many more. Percee P was selected for a 1992 Source Magazine "Hip Hop Quotable" for his verse on Lord Finesse's "Yes You May", from the album Return of the Funky Man.

His legendary battle with Lord Finesse from 1989 was immortalized on Edan the Deejay's Fast Rap mixtape, and a complete video of it has since surfaced as a bonus feature on the SBX DVD. Percee's voice is sampled on DJ Shadow's song "Napalm Brain/Scatter Brain" from the album Endtroducing......

Gab Gacha, was brought into this world on the Upper West ██░
side of Manhattan later to be relocated to Queens, New York ██
at an early age. It was in the working class neighborhoods ██
of Corona and Jackson Heights where Gab Gacha cultivated his ██
craft for MC'ing with a sheer ferocity characterized only by ██
the tight flows, incomparable word play and brilliant ██
concepts thatÆs molded him into the artist he is today. Of ██
course his road to destiny has been nothing short of a ██
struggle. HeÆs endured many obstacles to get to this ██
position, and to divulge the many details would be ██
fruitless. What can be said however is that if you listen to ██
his music you will know and understand that most if not all, ██
is more of a testimonial journal than a collection of songs. ██
In the early part of his career, Gab Gacha was part of a ██
group of MCÆs called ôTriflictsö. Comprised of Gab, Creature ██
and Buc Live, they inked a deal with the now defunct Island ██
Records In 1992. ██

Unfortunately soon after the first single dropped, the group ██
disbanded. However it was not all in vein as the single ██
called ôGenuineö, produced by the Beatnuts, sold quite a few ██
thousand records which sparked a huge underground buzz at ██
the time. After each went their separate ways, Gab found ██
himself working with a number of established artists and ██
producers. Gab Gacha appeared on The Beatnuts ôStreet Levelö ██

It was clear to see that the ripples set forth in the water ██
were sure signs of the Tsunami to come. Regrettably, the ██
storm never hit land. In 1997 the life that Gab Gacha led ██
eventually caught up to him. He was incarcerated for a ██
length of seven years forcing him to pay his dues and face ██
trial by fire. Fast forward to the year 2008. Now stands ██
among us a man more focused, mature and hungrier than ever. ██
While years in captivity have allowed Gab to hone his ██
