So frustrating, does anybody else get pains in the lower back that slowly develops as they run further and further, or has anyone had it before and found a way around it?
I mean.. I've always had it and I'm pretty sure when I run downhill it makes it worse TONS faster so I'm guessing the problems there, I'm just making this thread coz it pisses me off not being able to run very far because of a ****ty back pain.

I had the same problem man...But some things I have done have seemed to cure it.. For One,I dropped some cash on some expensive running shoes the extra padding really helps with the overall impact of the pavement...I also try to run as upright as possible and breathing correctly...For me when I run I wear a belt just a regular belt and wrap it around my waist not to tight but just enough this seems to have helped. Have not had any back pains in months

Bad posture would be the cause for this im pretty sure, get someone to tape you running normally, watch and try and correct. I think you'd probably be leaning backwards too far which would explain why when going downhill it would be exaggerated as you naturally lean back further when going downhill.
Yeah thanks, I'll try using a belt I've got one specific for preventing back injury so that should do the trick and maybe I'll get some better running shoes even though the ones I have are pretty sexual.
