I got a kitten today. My sister actually got it, and my mom is allergic to cats, so no go at my parents house. Me being the humanitarian that I am took it in. So, now to the point. I've never had a cat before, so any advice on care etc. would be appreciated.
How many times do they eat a day?
Do they need shots and ****?
He ate once today, I'm getting him a flea collar tomorrow. I'm also gonna get him some cat toys tomorrow.
His name is Hendrix.
Thanks.

Cats are evil. They are for old women who like to cast curses on their son-in-laws.
Evil *****es like cats... I hate them with all my body including my pee pee.
I'd rather have a dog, I saw an American Bulldog yesterday that I loved. One problem though, it was $600. Cat= Free

The best thing to do would to trade the cat in for a warm bowl of soup.

Cats are pretty self sufficient. Once you teach him to use a litter box, you just have to keep food and water out for himand he'll be fine by himself. When you see it looking in corners for a place to go, pick him up and out him in the litter box. If he accidently goes on the floor, put the poo in the litter box. They learn really quick. Warning* If you move the litter box, the cat may go on the floor where the box used to be. They get into habits of going in the same place. Do you know how old he is? I would at least have him checked for worms, because alot of kittens get them from the mother. It shouldnt be expensive..The vet might recommend getting his first shots, but if youre keeping him inside, you probably wont have to take him back very often.
Also, if it is a male, have him neutered as soon as he gets old enough.
