Canibus came out with a crazy diss (2nd round KO). It took LL two responses (Ripper Strikes Back + part of "Back Where I Belong"), but I'd give the edge to LL.

People say that LL's response was just going off what Canibus already said, but except for the "99% of your fans....." line, I don't see much more to it.

Hard one to call for me. But I actually give the edge to Canibus. I can see it going either way, but when it takes you less the work to do the same amount of damage, I give you the battle.

ALL of those lines are out of "The Ripper Strikes Back", and ALL of them are based off things Canibus said. I'm not saying LL is wack, in fact I really liked that track, but yes that response was basically molded off the things Canibus said about him.

IMO, Canibus took this EASY. Listen to "Rip The Jacker" as well, **** is bananas.

It isnt too hard to answer this question . Who still has a career in Entertainment ?? Lyrically canibus probably trumps LL , but when it comes to battling Star Power , money , and inside information goes a long way .

LL Cool J by late stoppage. This beef made me a fan. Canibus made himself sound very jealous hating on Mr. Smith. Making the song a single made him sound desperate for attention, too.

^^ LL is the one who started it. He took a line Bis said that was giving him props COMPLETELY out of context, and never stopped talking **** about Bis.

Exactly, LL was a str8 HOMO for this beef, LL was the one who was completely jealous. I thot Canibus took it by split decision but LL came hard and Canibus ended his own career with those wack ass albums

its a shame canibus never really cudda got the respect he deserved

LL definitely acted ***** about the whole situation. Nonetheless, I still think Canibus took the ****.
