did you know that a good powerful quick jab strength overall comes alot from your biceps?

other punches still use bicep to a extent but foot / hip and torso movement come more into play with everything else.

it also has to do with relaxation of the muscle before striking.

was interesting non the less

Ya, a punch basically uses your whole body, comes from your legs, to your hips, lats, to your shoulders, tricep, forearm. Correct? I just didn't see how the bicep improves a stronger jab

it doesnt help, lol. biceps are good for pulling in, like Ensanity said or even good for flexing your chokes.

sorry but they make a difference .... i think i read it on MIT site about a year ago, it made a marginal difference i believe it had to do with stability factor of the punch how it blanaces and stabalises the joint for stronger impact or some bull**** like that.... but anyways. i thought id let you all know cause MOST boxing sites say biceps dont do much, but the play a good part.

PS i agree with you all as well, lats, chest, shoulders, hips, movement, tris, FOREarms are the main points in punching and is where you derive your strength from, but the biceps bit helps ...

this is all i am done
