That was 13 years ago. I saw this in the news....the US news a long time ago. Simply embarrassing. It showed how Gabby purposely announced the wrong person as the winner for Best Actress. Gretchen Barretto, who was standing next to Gabby and read who the real winner was, looked stunned. She was obviously not in on the cheating.
Next clip I saw was Gabby sobbing in front of the cameras about his "innocence".
Today, on the TFC channel, Gabby is back in the Philippines hoping for a come back. He's got no shame and no integrity. I can't believe the person interviewing him (he's the bald headed guy) didn't show the clip of the cheat. What kind of journalism is that?

We are very forgiving but very subjective... Marcos is the best President Philippines ever had, but many still cannot forgive him, hehe. It might be that when we do, Philippines can now move on to the next level. As they say, hatred cannot make a person moved on, maybe the reason why we as a nation cant take off is that many still cannot forgive Marcos.
dont forget the we Pinoys are very forgiving people...

They learned their lesson with Marcos by first forgiving him of murdering his father's political rival. By releasing him, they released our future dictator. It's sad how one person can bring down a country. And we let that happen.

@ sniper pero forgiving naman tayo diba the marcoses came back to the P.I., nanalo pa nga sila ng ilang political post...meldy even run for president...tingin ko in general na patawada na sila ... or i may be wrong ...
back to the topic ... napanood ko ng live sa TV yang awards na yan it was really big then... pero ngayon wala na yan ... kung si lolit solis na mastermind yata nyan e nasa showbiz pa at tinatangkilik pa ng tao...si gabby pa na sabit lang...he he
