but, i do have a lot of respect for anybody who competes on an amateur level - whether it is in leitai, kickboxing, sanshou, boxing, or mma. unfortunately, because of a serious leg injury i cannot compete. but, i do love sparring quite a bit.

not just every sanshou guy would be able to do what cung le does. the guy puts a lot of effort into training skills. that is one of the reasons why his striking is so much more refined than any regular mma guy in the game right now.

most mma guys relay on toughness and plowing into a guy with wild strikes. the ground game in mma is much better skillwise. if guys would put an equal amount of effort into developing and refining stand up skills then cung le wouldn't look so much better. he has better body method.

that was a great fight, I know I said it was fixed but this didnt look like work at all. Frank Shamrock is entertaining, win or lose the guy is the man. His taunts during fights make me laugh and cheer:D Props for Cung Le for winning, he is one dangerous Striker especially with his kicks. Hopefully for Frank vs Cung 2 Frank would take him down work Cung from there. Good fight.
