View Full Version : If Byrd losses to McCline...
ChrististheAnswer 10-27-2004, 11:09 PM I'll leave the site for good. Thats how confident I'am that he will win and win convincingly. If he losses I'm outta here, besides I need more time for my studies.
But he won't lose so I'll be around for awhile. :D

Sounds like a good idea in any case

It will also be time for me to hang'em up too. If Byrd losses than I got no more reason to post on here. I made my name for my Byrd rhetoric and if he losses than I can't rant anymore. Besides I've made my mark on this site and I really should be studying more than I'am so really its a win-win situation.
But don't worry Byrd is not gonna lose.

I'm a man of my word, I WILL leave if my boy Chris losses.
Dr.Depravity 10-27-2004, 11:25 PM You can cut down on your Boxingscene activities and do more studying. Hell I had to endure Jones getting Ko'd twice on this board.... (shudders) it wasn't pretty.

If he does lose I got dibs on your points

I totally agree.
TheGreat1 10-28-2004, 01:17 AM i guess we will all see you on the 14th, because Bryd will not loss to this guy, he is waiting to lose to Toney, who is the only real threat to byrd anyway

This is very true. However do you not consider Vitali a threat as well?

Since when is DK allowing non DK fighters a shot at his belts?

McCline is a non King fighter.

Bryd is a very smart fighter, i think if he fights VK he whould win, he learned alot in that fight, and would adapt to beat vk in a rematch

What's all this talk about Toney only being to fight Vitali then? McCline has to be making some sort of deal with King though. Either way if he isn't King is not an idiot. He knows McCline has no chance, but I would say that Toney has a fairly decent chance of beating Byrd.

when he doesn't consider them to be a real threat. (McCline)

Except for the fact that he was soundly losing to a one armed Vitali when Byrd was closer to his prime than he is now, and Vitali is closer to his prime now than he was then. The thing I don't get about people bashing Vitali for quitting with his injury is how much it ruined Holyfield. Holyfield had the same thing happen to him against Byrd, yet he continued fighting. Now when he fights he complains of the pain he is in just trying to keep his left arm up and when he trys throwing a jab.

Exactly...but Toney is a threat.

i have never knocked VK for quiting. when that fight took place it didn't even matter, because no one was better than LL. you make a great point, i just don't think Bryd would lose to him again. i think Bryd would try to stay away, and use his slap in run method, which can't really be stopped. unless you r just as quick and ring smart like James Toney
techn9ne 10-28-2004, 02:14 AM McCline is a non King fighter.
yeah but he is a mandatory
word is don couldnt come up with the money for the IBF to make owen beck the mandatory instead of mccline
