At our rugby club they held the annual team highland games and I came in first! I am holding the record for log trowing. I trew the log 52 feet! pics will come later!

I don't know that either I reckon about 100lbs.. The trick to trowing it far is to make it flip over.

The farest end of the log counts for the measurement so if you just let it fal forward and the log is 15 feet long you already have a score of 15 feet.. if you make sure you flip it over you already have a score of 30 feet, trow the log 22 feet and you have score.

that aint no caber, cabers are actual logs, that looks like a massive plank.

You are right but I didn't know what it was called in england and since in the real highland games they use logs (cabars) I figured I'd call it like that to get the point accross, and it was heavy indeed.
