Got rear-ended this afternoon. Fortunately, there was an empty boat trailer between me and the idiot who hit me. I was stopped at a light and she hit me at about 35, talking on her cell phone. Witnesses say she didn't even hit her brakes. I'll post pics of the wreck once I figure out how to get them off my phone. The trailer broke into 3 mangled pieces, and one piece literally stapled our cars together. She broke her kneecap on the dashboard of her little Focus; me, I was in a big-ass work van.

I got off easy; mild whiplash, a headache, and a herniated disk in my neck between the 2nd and 3rd cervical vertebrae. My chiropractor thinks he can repair it non-operatively, but no boxing for 4-6 weeks. :banghead:

It could've been WAY worse. The pieces of trailer could've punctured the back doors of the van and, quite literally, killed me. Sheer stupid luck that they went through the undercarriage and trashed the differential, instead.

Looks nasty. Just try to keep it down to three beers or less before driving. That cuts my accidents down to a minimun.

I was on my way back to the shop after delivering a boat -- usually Friday afternoons when the work's done, we take a couple of skiffs and row across the harbor to the pub. Loser buys the pitcher.

And insurance rates are somehow still higher for men.., **** like that has happend to both my parents cause of women on cell phones, my dad actualy cant go back to doing construction full time and my mom now suffers from migraines, luckily you got off a lil better though
