By funny, I mean those KOs when a boxer is knocked down and then proceeds to get back up and start body popping around the ring, showing clear signs of immediate brain injury. Obvious examples are 'Bic Mac' doing the chicken dance after David Haye recently sent him back to Wales for a brain scan, or Zab Judah humiliating himself in a classic 'good vs evil match' up against Tszyu.

Liars who profess to watch boxing purely for sporting enjoyment, rather than to watch people get badly hurt in the ring needn't post on this thread. Let's get some honesty back into boxingscene.com.

I'm not sadistic person at all. Boxing pits two men trained (over several months) to be fighting machines, puts them in a ring and the first to render the other unconcious or unable to defend himself, wins. Yes, some are better technically, or aesthetically, than others, but it's still just regulated violence/fighting. That's what makes it so compelling. My only point is that my personal preference is for these fights to end with one of the combatants breakdancing in the corner of the ring as his, or preferably her, brain shuts down.

The point of boxing is to score points, Ko s are an alternative route to victory. In other words the point is to hit and not get hit.

Haye-Maccarinelli is a good recent addition.
