good to have another aussie here angus mate.

im a big willie kickett fan.. we'll see how he comes back from his hand injury but if that isnt an issue i reckon he's destined for greatness.

other good prospects include.. zappa, gostelow and mundraby

Me too, all the others don't really show that much promise.

yep his win against mitrevski was pretty respectable. havent seen enough of him to make an assessment though. heard there's a bit of a knock on his power though

i personally think his average at best, he lacks pop and gets hit.

Definitely Willie is the best prospect around at the moment.
Not sure how good his chin is yet, but I'm sure it will be tested in time.

Thats something that can easily be fixed. The important thing is he has the knockout power. Under a good trainer, things can happen. I have been impressed by him so far.

Yeah, I would also say Kickett. I think he has the talent to go very far and do some pretty great things. He's still very young and has basically everything needed to become a star. As long as he is managed correctly I see a great prospect for Aussie boxing.

What about Dib? That kid also has the potential to become quite spectacular. Seeing as he he has a fight coming up this weekend I believe and then the big one against Linares, which I think is still to be finalised, I also see him as becoming the next great Aussie fighter along with Katsidis and Kickett. Although I'm still wondering at the reasoning for putting him in with a guy of Linares' ability so early in his career. I am very much hoping that that won't break him if he loses badly. If he can win it will be so spectacular as to outdo any other achievement by an Aussie fighter this year! That's a big if though.
