Kid's changed a lot since I met him back in 02.

Looks like he's lost about 20 lbs and grown about 4 inches. He's not that short fat kid in the background anymore, that's for sure. This is a really really good thing, by the way.

Any pride or ego lost by that Quinton incident (you're gonna go down in history for that one, bro) should start to feel like it's slowly creeping back into the picture after that showing at HOC last Saturday. You trained hard and didn't *****... didn't complain, didn't nag, just got in there and did battle. And you showed determination, which is great.

Not only that man, but you're one of the sharpest ****in minds on this board. It's good to have you here. I don't think enough people appreciate Tong enough. He's old school... I've known of Tong for almost 5 years now. Used to wander around Sherdog as davehojak / ghostx0 (they didn't allow spaces in names) watchin this guy shoot **** with Dome, Bubba, the Canadians, Ruttenfan & that one **** who went Anti. Good stuff man. It was good seein you kick ass on Saturday. Hope to see you again soon.

Dave, ****ing Saturday was totally therapeutic. I know it sounds corny as all hell, but with all the **** that's been going on, it's just what the doctor ordered. Easily the best time I've had in a long while. And in the end, a little sweat & pain is a small price to pay for a genuinely good time.

Look forward to doing it again.

We will do this again soon man... get with Adam about gettin out here this weekend, maybe kick him a few bucks or something. He doesn't mind at all. Next time, me and you will roll. I was surprised at how well you did against some of the guys, especially Jake. Gettin control on a big guy like him is hard from any position, for any length of time. He's easily the strongest dude I've ever trained with.

I don't want to get ahead of myself. It was great getting the guys down, but I need to try that **** w/striking. Should be a double edge sword: I'll take damage getting them there, but once in sidemount... PAIN.

Yeah, I feel SO ****ed up about what happened to Adam's ride, especially since he was coming for me. May or may not have been due to the ****ed up road around here, don't know.

But yeah, I imagine I'll at least pay for the gas here and back.

oh no. Adam does'nt care to drive an extra 2 hours a day. Holy ****, no he does'nt. He loves to drive clear across Riverside County then clear outta Orange County, then all the way on the other side Of Los Angeles. No, Adam does'nt mind at all.
