Eventually, i came to my senses and stuck to the bitter. But nowadays, every cunts got a magners and a handful of ice on the go.

I mean, i've just had a bottle and its not bad. But not with ****ing ice. What's the matter with these folks.

It's better than asking for a shandy, I ****ing hate the taste of larger.

Love a pint of Strongbow, magners or Bulmers (which is the cheap version of Magners) aren't so nice, I'll only drink them when the bar doesn't serve Strongbow.
Another is Merrydown that only comes in a litre glass bottle, you can get it from Tescos, that's mega stuff.
Wethers serve Koppaberg which is really nice depending on which one you have.

Magners is my fav drink, I couldn't care less what people think about me i jst drink what i like and i hate the taste of beer and larger. Anyway Larger used to be considered a girls drink back in the 70's not many people drunk it.

In the old pub last night I had about 4 pints of fosters with me steak and then topped it all off with a nice double baileys on ice ;)

Used to drink snakebite about 15 years ago, but Cider just doesn't do it for me, Irish Whisky is my tipple, but if out on a bender (no jokes) it's lager.

I drink cider now and again and I like it. I was drinkin Koppaberg the other week and the peach one is lovely.

I don't mind it in small doses. It's a very sickening drink after 3 or 4. I remember trying that Scrumpy Jack and it nearly blowing my head off after a few.

I think Cider is more of a Summers drink. I think everyone just likes to relax in the beer gardens with a nice cold pint of koppaberg with ice in. roll on the summer.

There is a pub near me which has a BBQ in the gardens every day, all summer long. I go there with some friends buy some Magners, get some burgers and make a day of it.

Yeah i am not a big fan of strongbow, I will drink it if there is no over cider but magners is much nicer Scrumpy Jack is nice and there was some posh brand of cider i had at the o2 that i liked cant remember the name of it though.

I'm a cider/guinness drinker, I can't drink lager as it gave me stomach ulcers, but I prefer the taste anyway.

Thats what I thought to be honest, I had to stop drinking for a while (tragedy) because as you can imagine they were bloody painful and went to just below 9 stone because I couldn't eat properly :s when I started again lager hit my stomach bit too hard and irritated my stomach so tried cider and it just felt better, like the missing piece to my puzzle. And I haven't had any problems since.

i think with ulcers its the yeast in the lager that agitates them, so cider would make sense.

The ice ploy is just a cheap marketing trick aimed at women/12 year olds in northern England. Well, Magners in general is just a marketing ploy as it just a alcopop that doesn't look or taste like cider, more like appletise with nutrasweet. Clearly the ploy has worked. The sad thing is that (as can been seen above) it's also worked on men. They should all be castrated and put in Abu Ghraib indefinitely.

The only real cider is 3 litre bottles of White Ace. Scientific fact.

back when i was a youngster i used to drink a fair bit of cider. strongbow, three hammers, white lightning etc etc not because i particlary enjoyed it though. it was just convenient and cheap. nowadays im a lager man meself although i dont mind a glass of magners or bulmers as long as it's in a glass full of ice
