I was looking at the news earlier about that missing girl being found and as the news story progressed it was revealed that the girl's mother has children to FIVE different fathers. I'm not one to judge, but dear god, five different fathers. What the hell are some of these women thinking? I don't even think a woman like that has been on Jeremy Kyle. Why are you so reticent to judge her? Just because she had a bit of bad luck with one of her kids, it doesn't mean that she's suddenly not a horrible slut that needs to be sterilised ASAP. The step-dad is a jaw-droppingly thick cunt too.

I get a lot of abuse for suggesting it, but this is a perfect situation in which enforced sterilization should be employed. I'm for enforced sterilization in many circumstances, and this is just the perfect example of why it should be used. The stupid women having 5+ kids with different fathers etc, are always the ones who aren't even equipped to raise two children.

It was just a knee-jerk reaction at the time, and I suppose I was in a bit of a diplomatic mood when I made the thread. But yeah, it's pretty shocking that someone would actually have kids with five different men.

As for the sterilisation opinion: I myself have thought that it may be a good idea to give young people the option to have that done up until a certain age. I don't really know, you'd be basically taking away people's civil liberties and it would just be too radical. Infections and such would also go up tenfold I imagine, as it would be an open door for people to be reckless.

I think the best deterrent would be for the government to make things tougher for these people. If someone has a child and finds out things are tough, then the likelihood is they'll think twice about doing it again. With a case like this though, because there's so many different fathers, I'm guessing some of them work and will be paying support, so the making things tougher theory goes out the window. It's people's duty to pay for their kids.
