While having the opportunity to make GIFS for people and for personal use i have been able to analyse every frame and have come across some suspicious KO's. 2 of which are elaborated further.
case one
kofi jantuah and jose louis rodriguez
this punch is nowhere near a KO punch, jose was leaning back and the punch barely landed, nowhere near enough for the fist to hit his chin.
jose was a tomato can and probably gave up the fight and got his pay.

This picture does not show clearly what i am communicating but trust me he is moving back away from that shot and the punch barely grazes him.
Case 2
The biggest fight at middleweight in a long time De la hoya and hopkins.
Dlh was stopped by the most pathetic bodyshot i have ever seen, it did not even touch his side.
dlh has taken the best shots of tito, quartey and Vargas to name a few.
He has been dropped by shots far harder than the one hopkins gave him and still got up.
No way the few pounds would ever make that big of a difference, that fight was a FIX no doubt about it.

In the picture you can see the end of the hopkins punch, clearly it is hitting alot of his arm, nullifying the punch. No way is that a KO punch.

Well the punches stand to be KO punches in my sight until one can prove to me the reason behind purposefully losing.

it is right there in the photo, nowhere near the liver is a fake shot and de la hoya either chickened out or it was planned all along.

the shot wasnt in the liver
but no doubt it hurt
i box with my dad from time to time
i hit him in the same place
my bro was watchen
my dad imdeitlay said dats enuff
my bro was like bs he didnt even hit ya clean in the liver
but its the type of shot that stops u form pain
not from knockin the wind out of you like most liver shots
theres other angles of that shot he took
where u can clearly see the tip of hopkins glove nail DLH right under the arm
you can see his bodys muscles move form the impact
it may not have been devestating but all that matters is that it was enough to stop him for 10secs

all i heard b4 the fight was hopkins is gonna be to strong for dlh
blahh blahhh hes to big
blahh blahhhh blahh oscars to small
and then the fight happens and everythin goes as expected and suddenly its not possible
you guys are ridiculous

It didn't knock the wind out of him, it just hurted like hell. I recall De La Hoya saying, "He hit me right on the button."

we cant be sure whether the fights were fized or not, we dont even know how much those punches hurt, but the DLH one looked legit to me, its not like that was the only punch that landed on DLH througout the whole fight, it all musta gotten to him once that body shot landed...causing him to get KOd...either way, body shots hurt, maybe DLH was breathing out or sumthing once that punch landed? but it sure as hell did not look like a fixed match

dlh was real lucky to get out of there on a body shot, if that hadn't taken him out, i'll bet the last few rounds would have seen BHop busting up Oscar's pretty face

I doubt he would have had him looking like Joppy after their fight, but I think he would have smashed him up really good. Oh yeah and another thing. I agree Hopkins is the new Golden Boy..

Jack Johnson takin a dive against Jeese Willard.
Sonny Liston takin a dive against Ali in the second fight.

Johnson had to dive against Willard or he's have spent the rest of his life in jail... It did make seeing Jack dempsey destroy Willard a lot more satisfying

Roy Jones fight against tarver was fixed. I know cause my friend and I analyzed the marketing techniques that they used and it was obvious that they tried to convey Roy Jones as a dominant fighter. Also lots of buzz was araound the fight being fixed. We ended up winning lots of money with if iam not wrong 9:1 odds.

It was a grunt, not a scream ;)

The Roy Jones fight was not fixed. Dlh make a grunting sound and if u saw the punch is slow motion it hit him just above the kidney but not cleanly, he did not take a fall. The Ali fight might have been fixed but more likely Liston was just scared and wanted out.

I don't think the Delahoya fight was fixed. Oscar just realised that his gameplan had no affect on Hopkins and Hopkins was just starting to open up on him. Oscar simply quit! That was the only way for him to get out whith out getting ****ed up!

Floydmayweather
01-29-2005, 02:05 AM
I doubt he would quit he just got hit with a punch that landed right it might not have looked like it hurt but im sure it hurt like hell.

TheFairPole

Yeah but their in the hurt business! He should have been able to take that punch.

De la Hoya fight wasn't fixed. Jones was, and if you think it wasn't you dont know **** about boxing as a business.
