I cried at the end of this fight. Thoses 3 fights were the greastest 3 fights I will see in my life time. Two true warriors. Mickey Ward, the fighters fighter. Gatti, the man who's chin is surpassed only by his heart. Fighting 6 rounds with a broken right hand.
Wow, simply wow. I will never forget this night.

My home town is dracut massachusetts right next to lowell, I have met mickey on a few occasions a few times at O'hara's and a few times working on the streets. Sad to see him retire, I also cried at the end of this fight. There both a dying breed in the sport of boxing, fightes who will outwork and outheart there opponents. Congrats to both of them on the hardest fought 30 rounds I have ever seen.

36 rounds
these 2 figters will be etched in memory for a long time
Gatti IMO won all 3 but thats where the discussion starts..............................
30 rounds. Gatti won, Gatti broke his hand in the fourth and got knocked down in th 6th i believe. Great fight and both have my upmost respect. I want to see Gatti/Tsyzu. Gatti shouldn't box too much longer, he has taken hell of a lot of punishment in his career already and his speech is becoming impaired.

those guys are true soldiers. both of em got alot of heart. i guess they end the battle and its jsut a known fact amongst the heart of those fellas that they are an even match, and prolly the hardest match eachother has had. its like them fighting themselves.
