im not so sure bruno had such a terrible chin, i never saw him sparked out with one punch, it was more he had no natural instincts, you know, never knew how to hold on cover up when he got tagged, watch the witherspoon fight he takes a hell of a lot of punsihement in that last round basically he had a **** defence especially once a big shot had landed.

Either way dont matter much just an observation. ;)

Is that a funny camera angle there or has frank slimmed down a lot? Frnak doesnt look as muscular as normal, maybe he has shifted a bit of weight etc being a bit poorly and all that.

Is Bruno still seeking psychiatric help these days??

i think he is on the mend mate, he was pretty bad though, was sleeping in the ring he won the world title in and thought he was a jockey of all people, an 8 stone guy called franki dettori. :eek:

very sad but thankfully he seems to be on the way to recovering.

fair enough, but I think he did. He had plenty of heart and maybe that helped him stay on his feet awhile. Whenever a punch landed on the chandaleir, his legs and body did funny things. I did enjoy watching his fights..they were always entertaining.

I used to love watching Bruno's fight but god didn't he freeze when a big shot landed. In the fist fight with Tyson, Bruno took some tremendous shots and was still standing at the end, thats a pretty good chin in my eyes.

exactly to call a fighter who has been in the ring with a prime tyson and lewis a joke is just laughable!

I think it was conceivable, given Lewis' shaky chin, that Bruno could've ko'ed Lewis. Lewis wasn't all that good early in his career.

Yeah, as i remember he really shook Lewis up in the 3rd round of their fight. Bruno wasn`t great and he did talk a talk and never walked the walk but he did give value for money. He was out gunned at times but never quit, he took his lumps against Tyson and Lewis etc..
The problem was he did fight the best of the era. Tyson was the man, lewis was the man and he had to fight McCall to win the title. Kinda think with Bruno`s power that if he processed that if he had the heart and desire of Evander Holyfield he might have beat Tyson the 2nd time. However, he stands as is. A decent heavyweight who failed when he fought world class opponents!

if bruno was around now, he'd mount a serious challenge to klit. :D

Some people are being way too harsh on big Frank. OK so he was certainly no all time great, but he was a good fighter and was heavyweight champion of the world! (and he had Tyson in trouble in the 1st round!)

And if you're referring to his mental illness, that's just pathetic.

By all accounts a great guy and a brave warrior. I wish him the best in his recovery.

Bruno was a solid fighter, with tremendous punching power, wobbled tyson in the first round with a left hook in their first fight, he was very strong had a great reach, he didn't really had a bad chin, but he didnt had that killer instinct. Like someone mentioned he didn't know how to react when hurt. i think if he fought know he would be champion.

FRank Bruno was alright.. His build was incredible.. Now who was that other built guy... umm.. Bruce Seldon Mike Tyson farted on him and he fell down

I remember watching Frank early in his career knock some Scandinavian guy out with a jab. Frank's trouble was he was too nice and went into panic mode when someone tagged him. I seem to remember he was doing allright against Witherspoon and Bonecrusher Snith until he got caught late on.

Bruno hadnt got a bad chin, his TKO losses (Tyson apart) were more to do with starting too quickly and then running out of steam than anyhting else

I have heard he is suppose to be back with his wife again, so it is only a matter of time before she screws him up again.
