View Full Version : Arsenal v Ac Milan result
Dynamite Kid 03-05-2008, 07:31 AM Arsenal v Ac Milan result ,i thought Arsenal outplayed Milan at the Emirates & i could'nt understand why the pundits were righting us off ,after all a Goal would have taken us through & we would have needed to score in any case ,add the fact that we outplayed them in the 1st game & in the return leg they would have to actually come out of thier own half & show some attacking threat i was confident Arsenal could go through as it was we outplayed them again & they still did'nt show much threat going foward besides KAKA ,im a big fan of Pirlo but he was awfull in both legs & ive always thought that neandathol Gattuso was Overated [World Cup Winner or not]
Fabregas was awsome this kid is so good it is unreal, i thought Age v Youth was the deciding factor in both game Arsenal were to young to hungry To energetic for Ac Milan ,i have a feeling we are gonna get Barca in the next round though :nonono:
DURAN_IS_GOD 03-05-2008, 07:46 AM i thought arsenal were tremendous. Gallas, flamini and fabregas in particular. Fabregas is on another planet and made the ac milan midfield look distinctly average. I cant believe how well flamini has matured as well. Hopefully Toure will be back soon because he's another fantastic player
At times i thought arsenal were guilty of overplaying in and around the 18 yard box once again, but thats just how they play

Overplaying u dont know how ****ing annoying that is ,screaming at the telly ****in shoot
Ironic that the Goal came from outiside the box with a very ambitious effort to say the least
War For 94 03-05-2008, 09:44 AM A rare shot of Kaka NOT in Flamini's pocket -

Flamini bossed it, a joy to watch. You know you played a great game when you silence the Milan fans in their own backyard. Back line were impenetrable. I can't single just one player out like all the papers are doing (Fabregas), they were just all majestic, the way they passed the ball around, there was no fear.

Flamini completely nullified Kaka. That was one of MF's best performances. The Milan midfield has never looked so bad. Even worse was their back line, which needs to be dumped. They're simply too old. At some point Milan will have to introduce new blood at the back. Theo running them down in injury time may not have made a difference to the result but should have sent a message to the club
The Critic 03-05-2008, 11:25 AM Are tha papers singling out Fabregas?
I think Flamini was man of the match without question.

I find the independent usually have the best non-biased articles on sport particularly football.
It was a great game AC haven't been playing there best but to dominate them like arsenal did was something else.
Dynamite Kid 03-05-2008, 11:32 AM Senderdross should have been replaced in the January he is not fit to wear the shirt ,he is a decent CB but not a top CB he looked a bag of nerves last night i dont think he has the mentality to be a top CB ,he did okay last night but he is never far away from another rickett

yep he is a Liability ,an accident waiting to happen one punt up the Field & he will let the ball bounce & put his defence under preasure ,he lacks the mentality to deal with situations & preasure that is why i dont think he will ever be a top CB & his acceleration is terrible ,he is actually quite quick when he gets up ahead of steam but to many times he is caught on his heels through lack of acceleration
