Hendo was the only guy left that had a chance and the balls to face Anderson Silva and he got beat by impressing fashion. So who else is out there? Talks of GSP moving up weight, maybe they can bring in someone from another org like lindland or maybe even frank shamrock?:s Or Anderson Silva will have to move up weight to fight the competition there? What ya'll think the UFC will do with him? or what will be the best/smart move?

Give Almeida a few tune-up fights and he should be ****ing game. Also, Okami can be a good rematch or since I hear Chonnan is coming to America that can be another chance to avenge a loss.

frank shamrock will never fight in the ufc--- gsp aint doing **** untill he beats serra--- the only logical choice is fitch or a showdown between fitch and alemdia

So ya got Fitch to move up in weight? hmmm, possible he has proved to be a threat in the WW by his record of 9 straight wins there but he really hasnt be tested in the weight class yet.

Call my stupid or crazy but Micheal Bisping just came to mind:p:boxing:

i guess okami is the next logical choice with him fighting the former champ on the same card as silva/hendo....

I would like to see Matt Lindland have a crack at him, cant see Dana going for that one though.

A Frank Shamrock fight would be a huge seller, could end up to be just another money spinner like Hughes v Royce.Rather than a test for the champ against a prime fighter. Old school v New school sort of thing. Dana hates Frank aswell so this could be an unlikely longshot.

Okami will be next.imo

Okami and Silva fought before and I believe okami won by illegal hit.

Like Number6 says, Matt Lindland is the obvious choice for Anderson.

:nonono: lindland didn't get a contract offer from the UFC so he signed with Dream, would b an interesting match 2 see though.
Okami better b trainin hard or he'll b KO'd quick.

really...omg ive never scene the fight...lol

that fight was at 175- would 10+ pounds make a difference??? i personally think okami is going to be a lot stronger...where as silva is going to be the same....

will it change the outcome? yes...i think okami would last just a lil longer but still eventually get stopped

lol- i know more about mma then most people here- loiseau is a mental midget, hes no-where near the fighter he used to be prior to getting his ass kicked by rich franklin....**** he showed a small piece of his old self during the 3rd round aganist swick (which he lost)...aganist villesenior, he did absolutely nothing...his a former shell of himself, mentally scared to throw-down...you cant except him to be any kind of challenge!!! i say a 185 robbie lawyer would be our best chance to beat silva

Robbie doesnt stand a chance plus I'm pretty sure he's fighting at 170 now. Maybe Silva should go up in weight and fight Chuck since Shogun had to drop out....

robbies last couple of fights have been at 180/185,....what are you talking about? how does he not stand a chance, imho he has the power to hurt silva

So does Chris Leben, and look where his power got him. You can be the hardest hitter in mma, but you still got to be able to hit the guy. Lawler fights at 170 too, he fought Diaz, Mayhem, and Trigg at that weight so I just figured he was sticking at that weight...

Na Robbie's a middleweight, He's actually the EliteXC Middlewight champ and held another middleweight title at the same time before he got stripped

I would say he'd get destroyed by Anderson but he at least has a glimmer of a shot cuz he knocked out Ninja Rua, something Rampage and Paulo Filho couldnt do

Last time I have seen Robbie fight was when Diaz handed him his ass.
I hear he has improved a lot since then. I must check out his latest fights.

you don't no what your talking about- very sorry to tell you- mayhem and trigg both moved up to 185, diaz moved down to 155...chris leben doesn't have real power- please watch robbies latest fights prior to posting, he has incredible technique unlike leben and a great ground game!

you should really watch his newer fights- that diaz fight was 4 years ago- very old!

hes not the champ anymore btw- he was stripped due to injury- he will get his shot once he gets better!

I agree that Lawler's a lot better than Leben, but I think Silva's out of his league. It could be a good fight though.

Lawler isnt all that great. Pretty sloppy stand up with a less than par ground game. I checked it out and the Trigg and Mayhem fights where at 185, I just assumed they where 170 cuz that's the weight most of there fights have been at. It's looking like Okami is getting the next shot though...

i agree to an extend- but i think you need some serious power to hurt silva, and imho lawler is the only one with that kind of power and speed!

I think GSP has what it takes to beat Silva. He's beaten Trig, Serra, Hughes, Penn, Fitch, ect. His training regimen is second to none. He has trained with the top boxers, Olympic Wrestlers, and BBJ world champs. I think this super fight would be awsome. Lets all hope!

I also think the UFC should bring in people outside the UFC like people from Dream. That would be great. Or some one should move down from the Light Heavy Weight. If Machida were to lose he should move down weight and take on the Spider. Anyone Agree???
