If you had an opportunity to chose to train in Gracie JJ, which of the following places would you choose?
#1: A Royce Gracie school (http://www.gracie-jiu-jitsu.com/frames.html?270,169) with a Purple belt Instructor under Royce, Jim Hughes. Reputation of the school is all good stuff, and ive heard its very layed back. I went and checked it out and its a very small and confined space.
#2 Renzo Gracie's CT school (http://www.ctmma.com/renzo/index.php) with a black belt under Renzo named Fabio as the instructor. (anyone who knows him, last name, hearsay, etc....please let me know). School has a rep for being hard training, students in competitions such as Mass Destruction (John Clarke) and NAGA, amongst others. I've also heard there's alot of testosterone there and that some people have gotten injured there due to their harder training. Facilities are HUGE and nice from what i have seen.
Do you think it would be more beneficial to learn from a black belt as opposed to a purple? Any help, guidance, knowledge, opinions are welcomed, being i'm a complete n00b to BJJ. Already have GhosT^x0's opinions and thoughts, just interested in more information and opinions. Thanks in adv.
