I used to do 4 12 hour shifts one week then 3 12s the next....it was cool except working every other weekend so I'll say 4-10s

5 8's.

I couldn't handle 6 am on a saturday, that's just disgraceful.

If you took the four ten shift, the advantage would be you could do all the **** that you usually do on weekends, (shop, ****, drive on the freeways, etc) during the weekdays so there isn’t that much of a crowd.

The drawback would be that you would be working while most people (friends, lovers, etc) have the weekend off so beating the rush would be pointless, because you’d be beating it all alone.

Swinging the childcare issues that come with 4 10s could be a huge problem.

Barring that, they've given our department 2 choices here, and these are them. The 4-10s really helps the training schedule... while Jews observe the Sabbath, I'm socking ****ers in the face. While fools dread their monday, I'm socking ****ers in the face. While people say "damn it's only tuesday", I'm socking people in the ****ING face... although my hand probably hurts by then.

I've been offered the 4-10's schedule. The childcare thing could be huge, but as it stands right now, this is where I'm at. Give me reasons to feel good about it.

I think I would go with the 4 tens. Than you have a whole extra day for yourself to do whatever you please.
