View Full Version : Sad facts about my love life
GhosT^x0 06-04-2003, 03:29 PM * The longest relationship I was ever in hurt me the most.
* The shortest relationship I was ever in pleased me the most.
* I've never outright broken up with a girl without leaving her completely regretful of the fact that she met me. I try to be nice about it, and they don't get it. The only way to extinguish their infatuation in me is to break it for them.
* I've never cheated on a girl in my life.
* Until last month, I could count the number of partners I've had on one hand.
* 50% of the people I've slept with was through involvement in threeways with my then-girlfriend's girlfriends.
* I think of my daughter every single time I meet a new girl. I know firsthand the inevitability of where love, sex, and companionship will lead... and it kills a huge part of the "thrill" for me.
* I was willing to put up with stupidity and shallowness from women before. Now I do not.
* Of all the girls I've dated in the past 6 months, not a single one has held any long-term appeal.
* The one girl I want, I can't have.
* I won't date anyone I train with, work, live near or know through blood relation to a friend (ie. Tanner's sister).
* All your moms are an exception to that last one.
* Last time I had sex: 2 months ago
* Last time I had sex I enjoyed: No comment
* Last time I got angry about it: Today
* In a lot of cases, I'd rather fight than date.

I know this one all too well
The Mouse 06-04-2003, 03:34 PM Life is pointless without love. And love is pointless without the hardships along the way, which makes it more valuable once you obtain it. You can't fully apreciate love once it comes if you haven't been through the bull**** we call life first. Don't just give up and start fighting every one you meet with your fists. Every bad experience with a past girl in your life has made you stronger for tomorrow, and has made the true connection known as love that much more valuable and treasured. Hence once you find love, (and you will in the future), then you will have a much more rewarding life than you would have if you just fought every day for the rest of your life. Life is love, and the pursuit and treasures of love, should always compose a mans life.

GhosT^x0 06-04-2003, 03:35 PM Doesn't matter to anyone but me.
Lei Tong 06-04-2003, 03:36 PM I think ALOT of people know about that one.
The Mouse 06-04-2003, 03:37 PM Read my ****ing post you little whores.
Lei Tong 06-04-2003, 03:37 PM BY that I mean a lot of people can relate to that one. I can, although ironically, the one I want seemed completely and totally mine not that long ago.
Lei Tong 06-04-2003, 03:38 PM I read it... and then I farted.

I once subscribed to that whole "Don't **** where you eat" way of thinking, but I met my current gf at work, and things are going great.
The Ensanity 06-04-2003, 03:40 PM Mouse, a tear rolled down my cheek

Crystalline Dream 06-04-2003, 03:42 PM Sad facts about my love life:
*I have yet to find a man I can level with in every aspect that is important to me
*I find myself dating people I know from the beginning are wrong
*Because of the two above mentioned, I no longer look for romance

The weight of this comment is carried by the notion that to every ying, there's a yang... and I haven't found my yang yet. I've got the wang part covered (been that way since birth), but the yang, I'm still lookin.

I live life everyday... I've seen love maybe once. I don't like the ratios here, Matthew.
Lei Tong 06-04-2003, 03:44 PM Please don't let this turn into a trend of revaltions about your guys' love lifes. I'm sure we've all had it hard, one way or another.

We're in this together, I see.
Bluecifer 06-04-2003, 03:47 PM I feel your pain ghost, I would try and post a thoughtful and meaningful statement like Mousey, but I am not qualified because my love life is probably the biggest joke here.
Lei Tong 06-04-2003, 03:51 PM Let's not turn this into a "how ****ed up so-and-so aspect of my life is" type of contest.
Crystalline Dream 06-04-2003, 03:54 PM I don’t know about everyone here, but from the general consensus I have gotten from friends and family, having a ****ty dating life is pretty ****ing normal. Little do they realize mine has superceded normal.
If I find someone who I can agree with mentally, they totally disappoint me physically/emotionally and if I find someone who fulfills my sexuality(couldn’t think of a better way to say that) they are the worst disappointment mentally.
I think I am going to start looking at the fat man ads in the newspaper. At least most fat people are humble
Bluecifer 06-04-2003, 03:54 PM Love? Not for me....NOT FOR ME!!!!! AAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!! I'm sad now. :-(
Lei Tong 06-04-2003, 03:56 PM *GROAN*
Bluecifer 06-04-2003, 03:59 PM *sobbing and wailing uncontrollably while at work* NOT FOR ME!!!!! WAAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
LukeDothSucketh 06-04-2003, 04:02 PM *Goes to the bathroom to go poo, maybe after that I'll get a glass of water and ask what's for dinner, then most likely what time dinner is going to be. Then I'll scratch my balls, and come back downstairs.*
Squezze 06-04-2003, 04:05 PM See, normally, I'd chime in here about my ****ty love life, but lately it's going pretty damn good.
Lei Tong 06-04-2003, 04:08 PM And you have my deepest thanks for that (although in this case it's a bit out of your hands).

Wushu 06-04-2003, 04:11 PM Damn, this thread makes me feel thankful I've found the woman of my dreams. I hope everything turns out good for you Ghost. Don't worry man, you're still young. You'll find the one...don't worry
