This Nigerian middleweight, Kingsley Ikeke. I've yet to see him fight, but they say he never really lost a fight. He's the guy that Taylor and even Sturm don't want to fight. He fights for Golden Boy Promotions, and I'm sure Hopkins would be honored to make money with Oscar. After all, before he knocked Oscar out, he said, "I'm the new Golden Boy." If Hopkins were to beat this guy in January, it would almost wrap everything up right there at middleweight. How can any of these guys say Hopkins ducked them, when he went after the guy they all ducked. I'm looking forward to see this Ikeke guy fight, and I think Hopkins should consider going left on the whole industry, and fight a guy no one can say was legit.

ive been sayin it for a while now no one wants kingsley ikeke. taylor has been challenged by him and taylors people wont let him near ikeke. ive said it before ikeke will be champ. hopkins, taylor, sturm or eastman should fight him. if hopkins next opponent turns out to be sturm, ikeke should fight taylor with the winners fighting for the championship.

ikeke would be an awesome fight for Hopkins, but if it's gonna happen they should start setting it up now, Hops says he wants 20 defenses of his middleweight title then he'll retire

To go a little off subject...(well maybe alot) The only reason why Oscar De La Hoya doesn't want to retire right now is that he doesn't want to grant Hopkins the honour of retiring him. Hopkins will go on to say, how he truly is the executioner, having killed the careers of so many..

Tito Trinidad appears to be a good challenge for Bernard. Otherwise, Bernard to look upwards to the Lightheavies like Tarver and Glen Johnson.

I cant see ikeke giving hopkins many problems, i cant see anyone actually threatening him, unless age takes hold

i think that sturm, taylor and eastman would be some good challengers for hopkins, ikeke is good but needs to proove himself more

however, if they are ducking him, how can he do that ????

There is nothing left to prove for Hopkins at Middleweight. I´d love him to compete with Calzaghe or Danny Green at Super Middleweight. I think he could win both of these fights, but also both would be his biggest challenge in many years!

Calazaghe is just about ready to be finished. I think Hopkins is the right man for the job.

Calzaghe v Hopkins is a fight i would love to see, although slightly biased being british it would be great to see joe fight a real pound for pounder

well ikeke is fighting an average fighter by the name of René Arostegui he is 23-4(20 KO). i guess this is a keep busy fight until he can land a top ten guy. i think ikeke is rated # 9 by the ring so before he fights hop or any of the top three maybe he should fight some body in the 10-4 spots. for example joval, sturm or allen.
