Maybe one day we'll see him fight a legit opponent and this hype can all end, but for now it seems he's ok with fighting these type of fights because they get him paid and they are not a real risk.

Bean's actually improved quite alot over the course of his fights. He had an impressive showing recently against the tough Tengiz Tedoradze (despite losing). He dropped him and nearly had him out but Tengiz managed to turn it around. The fight was on youtube last I knew, I'd dig it up but I'm at work and youtube is disabled here. I think Bean could outslug Kimbo on the feet.

The Bean would get hit more, but Kimbo would get hit harder. This sounds like a Pride NYE match to me....
